No Any eligibility requirements? Adult participants must be parents Major Funder: Department of Community Services Other Funders: Public Health Agency of Canada (CAPC), United Church of Canada, Fairview United Church, Family Learning Endowment fund, Halifax Protestant Infant’s Foundation, Miscellaneous donations, fundraising Annual Operating Budget (range): $100,000-$149,999 Best Practices: Participant-driven centre, participants are involved in all areas and levels of decision-making Our use of space and flexibility Future Program Development: In the process of developing three new programs and enhancing resources through particular funding initiatives. We also look forward to supporting parent participants who would like to develop a program. Additional Information: Parents do not have to participate in programs to come to the centre. Child care is available each time the centre is open. There are many, many opportunities for parents to learn new skills and become actively involved.
