The Nova Scotia Council for the Family is proud to sponsor an annual recognition program for Council members.
Awards include:
Judge Tramble Award of Distinction (to recognize front line staff)
Achievement of Excellence Award (to recognize managerial/supervisory staff)
Barbara Goodyear Support Staff Award
Chuck Lake Distinguished Service Award
Award of Merit (for outstanding contributions by a board member)
Nominations for these awards are received annually. The awards are presented annually at the Annual General Meeting each Fall.
In addition to the internal Awards program, a
Community Partners Award was introduced in 1996 to honour community organizations
or corporations who partner with the Council for special projects designed to improve services to children, youth and families.
