Community Partners Award

Established in 1996, the Community Partners Award recognizes the contribution of corporations and/or community organizations who partner with the Nova Scotia Council for the Family for special projects designed to improve the provision of quality services to children, youth and families. 

Criteria:

Recipients of the Award must have demonstrated:

  • collaborative partnerships
  • commitment over time
  • innovations and perseverance
  • flexibility and adaptability

Nomination:

Recipients are selected by the Executive of the Council. Committees or special project teams are encouraged to submit names for consideration throughout the year as projects with community partners are completed. The Award is presented on an annual basis at the Winter or Spring Board Meeting of the NSCF.
